This Month @Carter
Our 2019-20 curriculum is entitled Bible 101. Our lessons take us through some of the most important Scripture stories that shape our faith as Christians. From Creation through the letters of Paul students will learn who and how God created us to be and how the ancient texts of the Bible are still speaking to us today. Our exciting workshops include science, creative writing, art, geography, games and more as we engage the stories of Scripture in ways that excite and empower our children of faith.
Our March unit focuses on the importance of trusting God. Each week, the classes gather for worship, prayer, and the reading of our monthly Scripture. Then, it's time for some fun! Our story workshops this month include:
David
Painted Stones
Elisha
Shaving Cream Art
Joshua
Building (and knocking down) Walls
Children begin worship with their parents at 10:15am in the Sanctuary. Following the Children's sermon, students travel together to the upstairs classrooms. Students will be brought down to coffee hour at 11:30am.
